A dense, beautifully worked embroidery from Camengo's Kaolin collection. Raku is embroidered in cotton yarn on a polyester-cotton ground, its name drawn from the Japanese ceramic technique — the design is exceptionally soft to the eye, all raw, organic shapes that recall contemporary ceramics.
The palette here moves through teal, slate blue, ochre, terracotta, and sage on a cream ground, with real dimension from the raised embroidery. A quietly artful textile — especially lovely for pillows, cushions, roman shades, or a small statement project where the hand of the stitching can be appreciated up close.

Embroidered textiles like this are increasingly rare to find as remnant yardage. The raised stitching gives Raku a tactile, collected quality that a print can't replicate, and the muted ceramic palette reads as both modern and timeless. It's the kind of fabric that turns a single pillow into something people ask about.
