Pattern repeat matters.

Larger vertical repeats create more waste because each drop must be aligned. This tool rounds drop length up to the next full repeat.

Do not over-subtract.

Doors and windows often create usable offcuts, but complicated rooms can consume them quickly. For a first estimate, we calculate from full perimeter rather than subtracting openings.
