Common questions
The details.
Is there a fee to join?
No. Trade access is free, with no annual fee and no minimum spend requirement. You apply once and the discount applies every time you shop.
What does the 20% discount apply to?
All fabric yardage from our textile library and all custom labor — pillows, lampshades, framed textiles, and soft goods sewn in our studio. It also applies to Trade Exchange purchases.
How is the discount applied?
Once approved, your account is tagged as a trade member. The 20% discount applies automatically at checkout — no codes needed.
Can I use my trade account for personal purchases?
Trade pricing is intended for professional use on client projects. We trust our trade members to use it appropriately.
How long does approval take?
We review every application personally and respond within 24 hours.
Can I consign through the Trade Exchange as a trade member?
Yes — trade members can both shop and consign through the Exchange. If you have remnants, surplus yardage, or finished pieces to sell, we handle everything. You keep 65% of each sale.
Do you take on interior design clients?
We work with a limited number of interior design clients directly — sourcing fabric, specifying pieces, and managing custom orders for full projects. If you're interested in working together on a project, reach out at hello@sisterandsewn.com.
