DECOUPE is the fabric and wallpaper world of British artist and interior decorator Jessica Russell Flint. Central Saint Martins–trained and granddaughter of the watercolourist Sir William Russell Flint, she built the label out of a love of colour and collage — and the frustration of never finding prints bold enough for her own rooms. Her hand-painted designs mix British heritage with the exotic (jungle leaves, flamingoes, pineapples) and have reached Harrods, Selfridges and Anthropologie. DECOUPE spans wallpaper, custom fabric, cushions and art prints, made in short, considered runs.
